  On January 15, 2023, Telangana’s inaugural Vande Bharat Express commenced its service between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. This launch marked a significant milestone as it also became the first Vande Bharat Express for the state of Andhra Pradesh. The train, identified by the numbers 20833/20834, operates six days a week. Spanning a distance of 699 km, the train completes its journey in a travel time of 8 hours and 30 minutes, achieving an average speed of 82 km/h. This Vande Bharat Train makes scheduled stops at Samalkot Junction, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada Junction, Khammam, and Warangal along its route between Secunderabad Junction and Visakhapatnam Junction..  Teleangana’s second Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 April 2023 between Secunderabad and Tirupati. The assault on a woman in front of her child in the premises of her apartment in Bhoganahalli area in Bellandur police station limits on Wednesday created outrage as the incident came to light on Thursday. Hyderabad: The School Education department on Monday declared August 29 and 30 as holidays for the schools which have been identified as the centres for the Group – II recruitment examination. In a proceeding, School Education director A Sri Devasena has directed the district educational officers to take necessary action in the matter. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) had notified 783 Group–II posts for which a total of 5,51,943 candidates applied.  In her recommendations, she said that the ownership of the lands, assets and properties of the TSRTC be vested with the Corporation itself for its sole and exclusive use, even post the absorption of the RTC employees as government employees. Hyderabad: Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has finally given her consent for the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (Absorption of Employees into Government Service) Bill to be presented in the State Assembly. The Governor, who had a meeting with State officials on Sunday afternoon, gave her assent along with a few recommendations as well.
